Session Content
Session 1 – Emotional Awareness Foundation: Self-Awareness
This lays the foundation by exploring self-awareness, our core values and the impact we have on workplace dynamics as a result of our emotional intelligence. We will learn how self-awareness shapes perceptions and allows us to develop the skills to better understand other’s triggers and motivations.
Session 2 – Emotional Regulation under Pressure
Managing emotions under pressure is essential for professional resilience and maintaining influence. Participants will learn techniques for emotional regulation and stress management that help them thrive in high-pressure environments.
Session 3 – Conflict Resolution
Conflict is inevitable, but emotionally intelligent leaders resolve it productively. This class teaches proven frameworks for managing and resolving workplace conflict while preserving relationships.
Session 4 – Emotionally Intelligent Communication
Great communication is less about what you say and more about what others feel. Participants will learn tools for reading emotional cues and communicating in ways that build trust and influence.
Session 5 – Social Awareness and Empathy
Empathy is the bridge between understanding others and leading effectively. This class helps participants practice reading others’ emotions and responding with empathy to strengthen relationships.
Session 6 – Inspiring and Influencing Others
Leadership is not position, it’s influence. Inspiring others requires emotional intelligence and authenticity. Participants will explore how to use EQ to inspire, motivate, and influence others positively in the workplace.
For each session you will:
– Watch pre-recorded video prior to each session
– Come prepared to discuss and apply insights
– Participate in all breakout sessions
– Complete pre-work within a simple EQ workbook
