The Mind of Christ in Our Career

Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians contains one of the most eloquent portrayals of a Christian mindset in all of God’s word. We find it in chapter two where Paul tells us we have the mind of Christ. Yes, that’s right. You and I have the mind of Christ. Now there’s something we don’t often consider.

When we have the mind of Christ in our professional ambition, our day-to-day work, our choices and plans, it means we connect with a hidden mystery God reserved for us alone. It’s something revealed through the Spirit…a treasure of the truest and highest wisdom.

What does it mean, then, to have “it” in our career? How do we possess it throughout a day surrounded by temptation, stress and uncertainty? We can, and all it takes is a little resolve.
